+1,250 People die in the congo each day+

+Most are children, dying from treatable diseases and sicknesses like chicken pox+

+There is a 2,000% increase in population each year in zimbabwae+

+Although there is a major increase in popultion, the growth rate is NEGATIVE because of AIDS related deaths+

+There is also an 80% unemployment rate+

+In the eight African countries with HIV infection rates over 15 percent, it is estimated that a third of today’s 15 year olds will die from AIDS+

+80% of all AIDS related deaths are in africa+

+During a short 100 days in Rwanda, as many people died as did on the days that Nagasaki AND Hiroshima occured+

+The difference is, there was no nuclear bomb, it was genocide+

+In sudan 400.000 people have died and 2.5 million have become unwanted refugees+

+More than one hundred people continue to die each day and five thousand die every month+

what can you do? do you even care? your fellow human is suffering. what are you doing to help? genocide, wars, all these terrible things are occuring daily just around the world. do you hear it? do you see it? dont always be so sure that things are ok in the world. there is so much you can do. america doesnt care. the western world doesnt care. but we can. this generation can take charge and help. end this abuse of human rights. of human life. join amnesty international. join project hope. dont just stand there. do something.
